Out of 507 applicants, Alanna was one of 23 playwrights interviewed for the 2023-2025 Emerging Writer's Group at The Public Theater in NYC. 

 

Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue was chosen out of 11,000 scripts to advance to the second round of the Austin Film Festival, putting it in the top 20% of plays that were chosen to advance.
